Brandon grew up on a tobacco farm in southern Virginia and graduated from Hargrave Military Academy. He then obtained a BBA in Marketing from James Madison University. He served as a Vice President for a large insurance agency in northern Virginia prior to becoming President of Hedrick Insurance & Financial. In 2006, Brandon earned the CIC designation. The CIC designation represents professional competence through a series of written examinations focusing on all major fields of insurance, agency operations and insurance management. Brandon enjoys skiing, travelling and supporting JMU football. He resides in the Ashland with his wife Heather, two children and favorite dog, Winston.
Suter became a licensed insurance agent in 2007. He became a Nationwide agency owner in 2012. In 2017 a long term goal of merging his business with his father and brother in law was finally realized. Suter now runs the agency's commercial insurance division. He has a wealth of knowledge in commercial insurance coverages and has earned his Certified Insurance Counselor and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist designations. When he is not working he spends time with his wife and 2 young sons. On the weekends you can find Suter on the golf course or cheering on the Virginia Tech Hokies.
Allan has been an agent for Nationwide insurance since 1979. He was an agency owner until 2017 when he merged his business with his son, Suter Easley and son in law, Brandon Hedrick. Allan now runs the agency's farming division and enjoys meeting and working with farmers. He is active in the Lions Club and Mason's and is also a member of the Pittsylvania County Board of Zoning Appeals. He likes to spend time on the golf course and makes many trips to Richmond to visit his children and 4 grandchildren.
Betty is a life long Mechanicsville resident. She has over 20 years of insurance experience including managing a large insurance agency for 12 years. Betty is a well rounded agent who has extensive knowledge in homeowners, RV, antique car and flood insurance. She is currently working on her CISR and CPIA designations. Jason grew up in Hanover County and graduated from Radford University with a BBA in management. Prior to joining Hedrick Insurance & Financial he was an associate agent in his father's insurance agency. Jason is currently working on his CISR designation and is our in house boating insurance specialists. He enjoys spending time in Deltaville, boating, fishing and Notre Dame football. Jason resides in Mechanicsville with his wife, Jill and son, Conner.
Jan grew up in Central Pennsylvania, and earned a BBA in Business Management from Penn State. She recently completed 26 years with Nationwide Insurance spending the last fourteen years as a Commercial Field Underwriting Specialist. She earned her CPCU designation and is a licensed P and C agent. She hopes to use the experience she gained in her years with Nationwide to help the agency expand their commercial book. She and her husband Dave live in the west end and enjoy daily hikes with their dog, Cara, reading, relaxing at the beach and visiting their children.
Donna has been an associate agent with Nationwide Insurance Company for 32 years and recently became the managing associate agent of our southside Virginia operations. Her favorite things are exercising, hiking, reading, trips to the beach and watching college football. She loves going to the gym every morning at 5:00 and has been a devoted Washington Redskin fan for 50 years!!
Cindy has been an associate agent with Nationwide for 31 years. She is married has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Cindy has lived her entire adult life in Ringgold, VA. She loves to spend time with her husband and loves to fish and read.
Toni has lived and worked in Chatham her whole life. She is now an empty-nester so it’s just her and her pets. Toni’s favorite thing to do is spend time with family, especially her little niece and nephews. She has been working in insurance since 1987.
As a licensed agent for personal and commercial insurance, Rose Marie works with small to mid-size businesses in a variety of industries including artisan contractors, builders, restaurants, convenience stores, retail shops, commercial trucking Her experience working directly with senior executives of major corporations, contract negotiations and managing financial records gives her the competency that is necessary when conducting insurance risk assessments. Rose Marie is able to provide an extra level of service from her knowledge of developing complex sales objectives, revenue forecasting and conducting account/forecast reviews. This experience allows for a more accurate risk analysis of the client’s overall insurance needs. Rose Marie enjoys spending time with her son, cooking, watching football and going to the beach.
Trey joined our agency in May 2018 after a successful run selling crop insurance. He was born and raised in Pittsylvania County and loves assisting our farm clients with all their insurance needs. Trey resides in Dry Fork with his wife, Kelsey.
Libi has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years. A native of Lynchburg, she studied Business Administration at Averett University and Political Leadership from the Sorensen Institute at the University of Virginia. Libi stays involved in the Bedford and Lynchburg communities by volunteering with various non profits such as being a Board of Directors member of the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce as well as serving as the Ambassador Chairman, former President of the Junior League of Lynchburg, and running many races to raise money for the area charities. When she has spare time, it is spent cheering the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest on. She currently lives in the Lynchburg area with her fiancé and Chocolate Labrador.
Alyssa grew up in South Dakota and earned a BA degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College. She lived in several states prior to relocating to Richmond in 2014 and joined the Agency in 2016. Alyssa enjoys traveling, going to concerts and is a huge sports fan. She and her husband Todd have four children.
Sam has been in the insurance industry for 25 plus years. He and his wife have lived in Martinsville, Va. since both graduating from Catawba College. Their daughter, son and grandson live in South Carolina at this time. He is active member of 1ST United Methodists Church and his local Kiwanis Club.
Lana became a licensed insurance agent in 2008. She grew up on a tobacco farm in Pittsylvania County and resides in Sandy Level with her husband and 2 sons. She likes fishing/boating and spending time with her family.
Harrison is a VCU School of Business alumni and native of Blackstone. Harrison has lived in Mechanicsville with his wife, Cecilia and children since 2005. His insurance career began in 1989 including positions in claims, underwriting and agency. Harrison is an avid outdoorsman spending much of his free time with family, hobby farming, hunting and fishing.
Kim has been licensed to sell Insurance since 1976. He is a LUTC member, Past board member for YMCA of Farmville, Past Farmville Jaycee and present member of Poplar Hill CDA Board. His hobbies include golf and guitar. He is a current member of Farmville Baptist Church and past deacon there. He and his wife Sandy are both life long Farmville residents.

Eric has been a resident of South Boston, VA practically my entire life. He has been and continues to be happily married to his high school sweetheart for 26 years. They are very proud of our 2 daughters, one of which is pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine and the other a masters degree in speech therapy with plans to obtain her PHD at some future point. He enjoys camping, fishing , canoeing, and practically anything to do with being in the outdoors. Eric has been in the insurance business for 27 years and enjoy the opportunity it gives me to help others especially in their time of need.
Kim grew up in a military family and has lived in a total of six states and one US territory, Guam. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech and VCU. Kim now lives in Chesterfield with her husband, teenage son and daughter and chocolate lab. In her spare time Kim leads a high school youth group at her church and serves on the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation Board of Directors.
